Retail Ban: Powerful SGARs have been heavily restricted from public retail. Popular hardware stores and supermarkets (such as Bunnings and Woolworths) have removed these products from their shelves.

Professional Use Only: SGAR products are now classed as “restricted chemical products” and can generally only be purchased and applied by licensed pest control professionals.

Tamper-Resistant Stations: Legally, all rodenticides must now be placed inside lockable, tamper-resistant bait stations.
